It satirizes work life in a typical software company in the 1990s, focusing on a handful of individuals who are fed up with their jobs. Sympathetic portrait of the film common IT workers who received a cult following among those in the profession, but the film also addresses themes familiar to office workers and white-collar workers in general. It was filmed in Las Colinas, Texas and Austin, Texas.
 
Based on the Milton series of cartoons created by Mike Judge, Office Space was made. Office Space Mike Judge was invested in live-action movie and their second full length release of the film -the first being the Beavis and Butt-Head Do America-excited-. The promotional campaign for Office Space often associated with Beavis and Butt-head. Although not a blockbuster, the film went on to develop a cult following, selling well on DVD and VHS.
